On Friday 14th December, employees from across Edwin James Group took part in Christmas Jumper Day, embracing the festive spirit and raising hundreds of pounds for children’s charity, Save the Children, at the same time.
People across the country took part in the campaign which encourages individuals, schools and companies to ‘make the world better with a sweater’ by donning their favourite festive wear. The money raised will help to bring essential food, healthcare, education and protection to disadvantaged children.
Between Musk Process Services, Parker Technical Services and Korrie Technical Services, over £500 was raised for Save the Children, a fabulous effort which saw employees wear Santa suits, tinsel necklaces, reindeer ears and even fairy lights.
Edwin James Group CEO, Derek Smith, said: “Each part of our business has existing charity links, so it was great to see everyone come together to support such a deserving cause. From Inverness to Peterborough, we saw some really creative outfits which will be hard to better next time round. We are really pleased that everyone got involved and are proud to have raised so much money.”
